Embassy Digital Platforms & Cultural Hackathons
Internal tools, web platforms and large-scale event systems for the French Embassy in Albania — including the ViaEgnatia 2.0 archaeology hackathon and the Tirana Urbanism Youth Competition.
About the project
An engagement as digital lead for the Ambassade de France en Albanie, spanning operational software and the mission's flagship public events. The work covered internal tools and web platforms — deploying applications on AWS, integrating external APIs, and automating operational workflows — alongside technical direction for the mission's Conseil d'Orientation Stratégique. It also meant building and running the platforms behind two major cultural events: ViaEgnatia 2.0, an online hackathon on archaeology, digital and tourism (150 participants), and TUYC, the Tirana Urbanism Youth Competition (70 participants). Both were delivered in close collaboration with the Alliance Française and a wide network of French and Albanian universities and institutions.
Impact
- Technical lead for the mission's Conseil d'Orientation Stratégique.
- Built and ran the platforms for two large international events (220+ participants combined).
- Internal tools and automation streamlined the mission's operational workflows.
